Refund policy
I hope you love your piece and you don't find yourself having to read this section, but if you do...
I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging.

If your return is accepted, I’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned for refund, like customised products (unless deemed incorrectly made or faulty). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. If the item is deemed as damaged/faulty/not as you ordered, a replacement may be issued.
All earrings are final sale, due to hygiene.
Damages, incorrect order or misspelling
Please inspect your order upon reception to ensure it is correct, and contact us immediately at hello@empress-jewellery.com.au if the item you have received is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If a replacement item is required, it will be of the same item originally ordered.
Change of Mind
If you change your mind re your design (material, font, initials/symbols), please contact me ASAP at hello@empress-jewellery.com.au with your order number and name as the subject. If I have not begun creating your piece, a change may be made. If construction has already begun, there may be fees associated with any changes.
For a change of mind of a whole product, a store credit may be given instead of a refund.
Exchanges
If you receive your piece and determine the chain length is not right, I may be able to organise an exchange for another length. However, this will require you to return the item in it's original packaging, and you will be required to cover postage fees for the return and resend, as well as a small fee for rework. Please ensure you check your piece upon receiving it so I can assist you ASAP if it's not quite right.
Refunds
I will notify you once I’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Children and jewellery
I do not make jewellery suitable for children, and do not recommend this jewellery for children.
Everything I make contains small parts and choking hazards. The chains are also a strangulation hazard.
I do not recommend you allow your children to wear these jewellery pieces.
If you do, please only do so under supervision from a responsible adult.
